Preserving our past to enlighten our future
The purpose of this Society shall be:
To stimulate and encourage an interest and enthusiasm in the past and present history of Lindenhurst through specially planned meetings devoted primarily to historical events in the community's past.
To assist in any project having as its objective the preservation of materials and things of historic value to the community.

In Memory.....
On August 4th, we lost a long-time member of our Society. Bill Pike remained involved and attended each General meeting. When it became difficult to make it on his own, his son would ensure he would make the meeting.
He will be missed by many in the Lindenhurst Village. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife, three sons and extended family.
